BLOM Bank and Mastercard announce winners of 2019 ‘UEFA Champions League’ campaign

BLOM Bank and Mastercard, a leading technology company in the global payments industry, have announced the lucky winners of the 2019 ‘UEFA Champions League’ campaign aimed at promoting credit card transactions.


The winners won all-expense-paid trips to experience the thrill of watching in person the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League Round 16, following a raffle draw held under the supervision of the Lebanese National Lottery on 4 February.


As part of the campaign that ran during the months of December 2018 and January 2019, BLOM Bank’s customers who used their BLOM Mastercard cards for transactions worth $100 were entitled to enter the draw automatically. Cardholders were allowed to increase their odds of winning the exciting prizes with more card transactions.


A reception was held at BLOM Bank’s offices in Zeituna to honor the winners of the campaign in the presence of Mr. Somu Roy, General Manager, Levant at Mastercard, and Mrs. Jocelyne Chahwan, Deputy General Manager and Head of Retail Banking at BLOM Bank.
