Dubai Government Workshop participates in ‘Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30’
The Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has expressed its full commitment to the second edition of the ‘Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30’ launched to boost Dubai’s bid to become the most active city in the world and promote sports as a means to adopt a healthy lifestyle in the emirate. As part of this commitment, DGW directors and employees are going to actively participate in daily exercises and other physical activities taking place along Jaddaf Walk for 30 days.
H.E. Humaid Sultan Al Mutaiwee, Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) CEO, said that joining the Dubai 30×30 Challenge is part of the commitment to support the national trend towards establishing a solid foundation for making Dubai a home for healthcare professionals. He pointed that the qualitaty-focused initiative has been successful under the continuous guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, in the ‘recent positive change in encouraging the members of the community to exercise.
He added: “We are proud to participate in the second edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge through a series of indoor and outdoor fitness activities as part of our national efforts to make Dubai a city of sport, happiness, physical activity and positive energy, and encourage the continuation of sport after the end of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, in accordance with our responsibilities towards our employees and enable them to enjoy the health and the will and strength required to achieve professional excellence and personal development”
