Dubai Government Workshop successfully holds ‘Repair Talks Bodyshop Forum Meeting’
The Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) successfully hosted recently the ‘Repair Talks Bodyshop Forum Meeting’. The event, which was attended by local and regional representatives of leading automotive companies and organizations, demonstrates the workshop’s keenness in building and reinforcing bridges of communication with its strategic partners, particularly companies specializing in vehicle maintenance.
Khalid Ahmed Al Doubi, Acting Deputy CEO, DGW, said, “We are proud to have hosted this leading event, which is aimed towards increasing more awareness and knowledge about identifying maintenance systems and materials, especially in learning more about new methods, technologies and best practices revolving around vehicle maintenance–also including structures, paint use, registration and insurance.”
He emphasized on the importance of hosting events like the ‘‘Repair Talks Bodyshop Forum Meeting’, which falls in line with the continuing efforts to help contribute in the move to achieve and embrace sustainability in the UAE. He also pointed out that the forum served as a strategic platform to promote the adoption of the latest innovative policies in vehicle maintenance while also being able to explore potential partnership and cooperation opportunities and discuss industry insights concerning the environment, particularly across the impact made by the maintenance and modification of vehicles.
Al Doubi further revealed that the event is a quality focused initiative that falls in line with the vision of UAE 2030, which is aimed towards achieving sustainability for the country. During the forum, participants participated in key discussions involving the development of the vehicle maintenance and repair market–highlighted by its challenges and the solutions developed to help address them, including the repair and maintenance of vehicles involved in collisions and accidents.
