Nine West, a globally renowned brand offering high quality footwear, handbags and accessories, will be donating one pair of shoes for breast cancer survivors this October, for every pair sold at its UAE stores.

Nine West has partnered with Pink Caravan, a breast cancer initiative under Friends of Cancer Patients, for this 3-week-long initiative to raise awareness on breast cancer. This initiative is an extension of its ongoing partnership with Pink Caravan, whose pin sales in Nine West stores has helped raised AED 353,360 since 2015. Nine West’s fundraising efforts through customer engagement has helped sponsor 12 chemotherapy treatments, 247 mammograms & one surgery.

Pink Caravan was launched in 2011 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah.

Besides raising funds for breast cancer all year round, Nine West has raised awareness amongst its customers on early screenings by providing health check-up vouchers and training employees on raising awareness for the cause.

Nine West, a women-centric brand, believes that this campaign will increase employee engagement as well as help raise awareness for a cause that impacts so many young women in recent times.
