FROM PCH TO THE PAN AMERICAN
Travel isn’t just about seeing sights, acquiring passport stamps or souvenirs. Travel is as much about an inward journey of self-discovery as it is about foreign markets and iconic wonders of the world.
For our FW18 collection, we follow the voyage of a young couple as they travel from Northern California, down the Pan-American Highway all the way to Patagonia in her grandfather’s 1964 Land Cruiser. They encounter hidden churches and iconic wonders. They spend time with locals, with each other, alone. They find themselves in foreign places, uncomfortable, yet somewhat familiar with the unknown.
These explorations led us to create a footwear collection for women, men, and kids with handcrafted details, patterned accents and elevated materials. Shoes like the Paxton, a slip-on made for life on the move, or the Rio and Balboa which blend sneaker and moccasin effortlessly, were inspired by the journey, the destination and the places we stopped along the way.
This season also features the Hawthorne and the Esme, boots created in quality leather and suede much like those we found in Buenos Aires and the surrounding areas. The Venice Collection returns
with plush faux shearling accents, while the Berkeley and Ivy slippers, come clad in warm quilted uppers and lux pom-poms, keeping you cosy between adventures.
