The team of specialized engineers design and equip surgical, sterilization and medical furniture in hospitals, in addition to providing the latest technologies for cardiovascular diseases, brain and nerves, column Spine and hearing impairment.

Mr. Hady Bsat, General Manager of Promedz, welcomed the attendees saying, “Our journey began 11 years ago, and we would not be able to reach what we are today were it not for the support of our suppliers first, and the Ministry of Health that hasn’t spared any efforts to help us shed light on the less popular diseases and their impact on society.” Mr. Bsat also thanked Mr. Nabil Haddad, Chairman of IPT Powertech Group, for “his belief in the health sector and his continued support for Promedz, which allowed us to be one of the strongest companies in this field.”

Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Ghassan Hasbani stressed the great impact of technology in the health sector and expressed the pride of the Lebanese state of Promedz for its technical innovation and its contribution that has come at the heart of the Lebanese need. “Technology has a big role to play, not only in developed societies, but also in societies with limited budgets and a complex financial situation, and this shows in the awareness campaign for people with Epilepsy that Promedz did and I witnessed,” he said, “We are proud of Promedz and similar companies for their efforts in making the health sector in Lebanon the first in the Middle East, and we hope that we can continue to provide an incubator environment to enable you to continue your successes and achievements.”

Dr. Joseph El Helo, representative of the Minister of Health Dr. Jamil Jabak, discussed the improvement that the Health Care sector is making and expressed his thankfulness to Promedz for their continuous support to the ministry saying: “Despite the limited budget of the ministry of Health, we were able to help more than 289,000 patients in 2018 alone to get treated. In a study conducted by Bloomberg, Lebanon’s health sector ranked 32rd last year and 28 for this year, and ranked first in the Middle East. This is a sign of the progress of the health care sector in Lebanon,” he said, hoping that Lebanon would be among the top ranks in the coming years.

In his turn, Deputy Fady Alameh said; “The digital revolution has become the basis in every field, and the medical field is no exception. At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Bsat thanked everyone who made this event successful and stressed their continued support to the medical sector in Lebanon and the region wishing that a great effort will be exerted in the development and equipping of all hospitals in Lebanon in the next stage.
