AIR FRANCE OPTIMIZES FLIGHT SCHEDULE BETWEEN BEIRUT AND PARIS FOR BETTER CONNECTIONS
As part of its continuous efforts to invest in the Lebanese market, and to serve the needs of Lebanese customers to connect with the rest of the world, Air France is changing the schedule of its flights between Paris and Beirut as of 2nd December 2020, allowing its customers same day connections.
Flight times from/to Beirut Rafic Hariri International airport, 5 flights per week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, operated with a Boeing 777/200, offering 3 cabins Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins, with of course additional sanitary measures to ensure passengers safety.
- Departure from Paris (CDG) at 6.10 pm, arrival to Beirut at 11.20 pm
- Departure from Beirut at 01:00 am, arrival to Paris (CDG) at 04:40 am
This flight is in addition to the joint flights in partnership with its Skyteam partner Middle East Airlines.
This new schedule offers Lebanese customers wider choice of easier and faster worldwide connections, from/to Europe, United States, Canada, South America and Africa and Europe, such as Nice, New York, Madrid, San Francisco, Detroit, Lyon, Barcelona, etc…
This new schedule will help Lebanese diaspora to reconnect with their family and loved ones and for those seeking to visit Paris they can enjoy a same day round trip, spend a full working day in Paris, and return to Beirut to the comfort of their home.
A fully flexible sales policy
Air France is adapting its commercial measures to enable its customers to book their next trip in complete confidence.
If customers wish to cancel their trip, their ticket can now be changed at no extra cost and without proof, on the date and to the destination* of their choice. If they prefer, they can request a refundable credit voucher. These measures, which provide optimal flexibility, apply to all trips until 31 March 2021.
If their flight is cancelled by the airline, customers can choose to postpone their trip to the date and destination* of their choice, request a full ticket refund or receive a credit voucher, which is also refundable if not used.
Finally, for all trips until the end of the year, customers who are members of the Flying Blue loyalty programme will have their Miles and experience points (XP) doubled.
*if the change of destination results in a change in price, only the fare difference will be applied.
Air France Protect, Air France’s health commitment
The health and well-being of Air France customers and staff are at the heart of the company’s concerns. Air France is committed to providing its customers optimum health and hygiene conditions at each stage of their trip. Grouped under the “Air France Protect” label, the measures implemented by the company are regularly adapted to changes in the current health context.
The wearing of surgical masks is also compulsory on board the aircraft and throughout the duration of the trip. The air in the cabin is renewed every 3 minutes. The air recycling system on board Air France aircraft is equipped with HEPA – High Efficiency Particulate Air – filters identical to those used in hospital operating theatres.
Prior to travelling, Air France invites its customers to check the flight schedules as well as the entry and travel requirements for their destination and transit countries with the relevant authorities, on www.airfrance.traveldoc.aero and www.airfrance.com. These may have been modified due to the evolving global health situation.
