Al Masaood Automobiles and Glasurit join forces to develop vocational training program on automotive refinishing

Al Masaood Automobiles, an icon of the UAE automotive industry, announced its collaboration with Glasurit, the world’s leading brand in the vehicle refinishing industry. In cooperation with Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI), both parties agreed to develop a vocational automotive refinishing training program to be offered at the newly opened state-of-the-art BASF Refinish Coatings Academy in Abu Dhabi.

As a result of the partnership, Al Masaood Automobiles has become the Academy’s first private sector partner for vocational training. This training program is a strategic initiative that aims to enrich knowledge, equip trainees with the latest skills, and provide practical experience in automotive refinishing.

Irfan Tansel, CEO of Al Masaood Automobiles, said: “Our collaboration complements the UAE Government’s leading initiative that focuses on vocational and on-the-job training of young Emiratis. Furthermore, it reflects the pivotal role of the private sector in the ongoing efforts to develop the capacity of the country’s citizens as part of the nation-building efforts.”

“Under this perspective, we at Al Masaood Automobiles take great pride in this new endeavour with Glasurit and ADVETI, formed based on our organisation’s core values of service excellence, quality, partnership building, and social responsibility. At the heart of this project is the desire to do good for the community, as such, we are confident that the vocational training program will be a growth enabler and will open up long-term strategic opportunities.”

Renowned for its decades of experience in the local automotive industry and its extensive network coverage that includes six Service Centres and seven Spare Parts outlets, Al Masaood Automobiles fully provides the highest standards of service in the local market. It also boasts world-class after-sales and quality control services.  The company continues to build on the momentum by exploring new vistas for future business growth and expansion. It plans to open a network of branches in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, and the rest of the GCC states.
