TO MAKE THE EYES POP, THE SKIN WAS KEPT FRESH AND YOUTHFUL PAIRED WITH DOLL-LIKE LIPS CREATED BY AN ACCENTUATED CUPIDS BOW. THE LIPS, ENHANCED BY SUBTLE HINT OF COLOUR IN THE CENTRE BROUGHT HARRIS’ MODERN COUTURE VISION TO LIFE.
“In creating the makeup look for this iconic show, we were inspired by Harris’ Demi Couture world. The heart of the look is captured in the wide-eyed blue & bronze eyes paired the muted doll-like lips and healthy-glow skin.
To create the fresh-faced look we drenched the skin in Charlotte’s Magic Water Cream which serves as a great base for Charlotte’s complexion hero Beautiful Skin Foundation, with the Beauty Light Wand in Spotlight to sharpen the cheekbones & Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder to mattify where needed.
The eyes were the focal point of the look which is drawn in by lashings of mascara creating a pinched lash look in front of a striking cobalt blue or bronzed eye base. This was created using Charlotte’s NEW! Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara with a vinyl black finish paired with the striking tones from exciting NEW! 2025 blue eyeshadow palette & globally loved Queen of Glow Luxury eyeshadow palette.
In contrast to the eyes, I wanted to use muted tones for the lips to compliment the doll-like aesthetic. We exaggerated the cupids bow & middle of the lower lip using either Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk Deep, Foxy Brown or Iconic Nude & bathed the centre of the lips in Collagen Lip Bath in Refresh Rose for a glazed finish.
We wanted to create a makeup look that spoke to the 19th Century French silhouettes Harris was inspired by for this season, while using bright colours and opulent textures that would help embody otherworldly fantasy Harris creates with his extraordinary pieces.”
