On creating the beauty looks for the show, Sofia Tilbury shares:
“I am so excited to once again be supporting Zuhair in bringing his wonderful vision to life this season. The collection is inspired by a woman’s strength and her ability to move forward with determination and resilience.
For the makeup look, we wanted to reflect Zuhair’s depiction of an enigmatic woman who is unpredictable, courageous and free. To bring her strong, passionate personality to life, we created a bold, dramatic winged liner, keeping the rest of the face more neutral and pared down.
To sketch out the initial shape of the wing, we traced The Classic black eyeliner pencil along the lash line, starting from the inner corner and bringing it out to the brow. Using the black end of Charlotte’s Hollywood Exagger-Eyes Liner Duo, we then went over the wing to thicken and intensify it. To ensure the end of the wing was ultra-sharp, we used The Feline Flick black liquid eyeliner to refine the very outer corner.
For complexion, we wanted to create this gorgeous ‘cloud skin’ effect, which is all about beautiful, flawless skin with a diffused, soft-focus matte finish. We started by prepping and hydrating the skin with several of Charlotte’s skincare icons, including her Magic Hydrator Mist, Magic Serum Crystal Elixir and Charlotte’s Magic Water Cream. We then applied some of Charlotte’s new Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Hydrating Foundation Stick, gliding it across the cheekbones and temples for a lit-from-within glow. To conceal and perfect, we combined Charlotte’s Magic Away and Beautiful Skin Concealer, using a slightly darker shade of the latter around the perimeter of the face to create some soft dimension. To set, we applied a little Airbrush Flawless Finish underneath the eyes, focusing more on the T-zone to achieve the look of smooth, blurred and perfected skin.
Brows were gently brushed up to create some soft definition. Since the look was all about the eyes, we finished with a barely-there look on the lips, adding hydration and subtle shine with Charlotte’s Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir.” Sofia Tilbury, Artistry Director, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty
