Meydan Racecourse was alive with energy last night as 6,000 participants ran, walked, and danced their way around a 5km course lined with booming speakers, making it a one-of-a-kind experience at The Music Run. The sold-out fun run culminated in an incredible finish festival with live DJs, where participants danced into the evening.
The Music Run global event series made its regional debut as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, an annual initiative launched to inspire Dubai residents to embrace a more active lifestyle by committing to 30 minutes of exercise each day for 30 days.
“That was super fun! The music made it so much easier to get around the run course and the finish festival was awesome. Such a fun way to get active with friends! Definitely a highlight of the Dubai Fitness Challenge so far!” said Paris Vorgias, The Music Run participant.
Yesterday’s The Music Run festivities were also a highlight of the T100 World Tour Final race weekend, with the action continuing today in the age group 100km race from 6:30 a.m. and the pro men’s race kicking off at 1:30 p.m.
