Istituto Marangoni Dubai has announced the launch of its new “Training Course in Design for Teens”, set to begin on 2 November 2024. Open to young creatives aged 11-14, this seven-session short course is designed to give students an immersive introduction to the world of design, providing hands-on experience and creative insight across various design disciplines.
Over the course of two weekends, participants will delve into key areas of design under the guidance of Istituto Marangoni Dubai’s expert tutors, who are leading industry experts The programme begins with an introduction and sketching workshop, encouraging participants to unlock their creativity. From there, participants will explore the worlds of interior design, fashion styling, materials manipulation, and photography.
Each session is created to inspire and engage, equipping students with the tools they need to express their unique vision. The course culminates in a final presentation, where participants will showcase their work and receive personalised feedback from industry experts, giving them the chance to refine their portfolios and prepare for future studies in design.
Beyond gaining hands-on experience across multiple design disciplines, students will have the opportunity to develop a creative portfolio that can strengthen future university applications. This course is a perfect starting point for those seeking to stand out in future academic and creative pursuits.
