Rebirth Beirut is excited to present its new solo exhibition by Chucrallah Fattouh: “Unstoppable Women.” The exhibition will open on July 3rd, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, featuring a live drawing session by the artist from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Additionally, a “Meet the Artist” activity will take place on July 6th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, offering visitors the opportunity to engage in one-on-one conversations with Fattouh.
The exhibition will run until Saturday, July 13th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily, except on Sundays. It is worth noting that this event is part of the Beirut Art Days cultural activity.
Fattouh’s artworks have been featured in over one hundred national and international exhibitions such as Sursock Museum (Beirut), Grand Palais (Paris), Art Basel (Miami) and have been auctioned at prestigious auction houses worldwide, including Bonhams and Sotheby’s (London).
Fattouh has earned several awards, including an award from the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum for his exhibition in Japan in 2023.
Fattouh explains that he chose the title “Unstoppable Women” to highlight the motion and activity of women in society and their vibrant role, which he likens to the beauty of art and its movements. Women are at the core of this exhibition, serving as the source of inspiration for each piece.
Mr. Gaby Fernaine, President and Founder of Rebirth Beirut, expressed his gratitude and pride in hosting yet another successful exhibition and called all art lovers to come and witness the beauty of the art pieces and the exhibition that is taking place at the headquarters of the NGO in Gemmayzé.
Part of the proceeds from this exhibition will support Rebirth Beirut’s initiatives, which include infrastructure projects aimed at the rehabilitation of traffic lights, street lighting, and other vital projects serving the beautiful capital of Beirut.
