Sustainability and art combine creatively at DIFC Art Nights

The 16th edition of DIFC Art Nights, under the theme of ‘Expressions for Sustainable Change’ got underway with its opening night in Gate Village, DIFC on 23 November.

The opening night featured a VIP tour with Saleh Al Akrabi, Chief Real Estate Officer, DIFC Investments, who toured the exhibition and spoke to the artists about their works.

The much anticipated bi-annual art event features a host of interactive art exhibits and live art performances by local and international artists that explore the theme of sustainability, art workshops where people can learn how to upscale household items and a sustainable fashion pop-up from FLTRD. The evening also featured thought-provoking panel discussions and orchestral performances by students from the Centre of Musical Arts, featuring sustainable musical instruments.

DIFC Art Nights is open to the public and free of charge to attend. The final evening will be concluded tonight, Friday 24 November and all art and culture enthusiasts are highly encouraged to attend.
