BSL BANK AND CHANCE ASSOCIATION RALLYING TOGETHER AGAINST CANCER

BSL BANK has announced its partnership with CHANCE Association to help ensure that children with cancer have access to the support and quality treatment they need to live life to the fullest.

This initiative comes part of BSL BANK’s commitment to make a meaningful, lasting contribution to the society. Through this new partnership, BSL BANK will not only offer financial support to the NGO and rally its community around the cause, but it will also introduce a special credit card that will provide CHANCE with a sustainable and regular source of funding.

Commenting on the collaborative efforts of both parties, Dr. Roula Farah, president of CHANCE Association, said in a statement:

“We are glad to see that BSL BANK will be joining our big family of supporters as Annual Partner for 2019-2020. This will help us give more children with cancer the chance to seek the treatment they need.”

From his part, Mr. Elias Alouf, BSL BANK’s General Manager also added:

A child’s access to cancer treatment, and their chances to live, should not be based on financial matters. The objective of this collaboration is to give CHANCE a level of financial autonomy, so that swift action can be taken for appropriate and timely medical care.” He also pointed out that the bank will put all needed efforts to spread awareness and support families in their courageous journey. “With the help of our community of employees, clients and partners. This will bring joy to the heart of each person working at, and with, BSL BANK.”

This annual partnership is a continuation of the long collaboration between the bank and the NGO. In fact, BSL BANK has supported several initiatives and events, including: the latest CHANCE’s Yellow Ribbon aiming at raising awareness amongst parents on early signs of childhood cancer. The campaign began in March this year and will continue rolling out in schools across Lebanon in 2020.

Seeing this mutual collaboration transform into a solid partnership gives us even more will and confidence to continue giving these children a CHANCE…,” concluded Dr. Farah.
