To celebrate the Republic Day of India on 26 January 2023, Kinara by Vikas Khanna at JA Lake View Hotel has curated a menu filled with nostalgic dishes inspired by the past and present of the wonderful country, captivating the culture through delicious delicacies from the pre-Independence India.
The beautiful restaurant captures the spirit of India, fusing together the traditional and modern to provide a journey for the senses, whether seated inside the atmospheric venue or on the stunning terrace, dining under the glittering stars.
The menu, devised by world-renowned chef, Vikas Khanna, begins with a symphony of flavours presented within an amuse bouche featuring a Seasoning Pot of four pickles, relishes and chutneys to set tastebuds dancing. Moving into starters, guests can select from an array including Vegetable Puff, Patrani macchi and Shammi Kebab.
As the fragrant aromas of the mouthwatering mains hit the senses before they have even been placed on the table, diners will be enraptured by the choices of Palak Paneer, Keema Kaleji, Dhaba Dal, Chicken Berry Biyrani and Khamiri Roti.
Be sure to save room for dessert, which comprises of a twist on two classics, Phirni and Moong Dal Halwa, ensuring the meal ends on a sweet note.
