DD Foxx is the first Middle Eastern female to place on U.S Billboard charts

We love to see Middle Eastern women taking the whole world by storm.

Lebanese artist DD Foxx has earned herself a position on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. This officially makes her the first Middle Eastern women ever to place on the US chart. Based out of the UAE, Foxx’s Top 20 hit ‘Need Your Love Tonight’ peaked at number 18.

The track was remixed by DJ Kue who is famous for putting his spin on songs. He has previously remixed Calvin Harris and The Chainsmokers and was also named “Remix Producer of the Year” in 2017. He has also been backed by some of the biggest DJs in the industry such as Fedde Le Grande, Steve Aoki and Laidback Luke. So, with Foxx’s stunning vocals and Kue’s flare for dance beats, these two are a match made in heaven.

Speaking about the track’s success, Foxx said, “My single peaking at number 18 on the chart has been my career highlight. I am a strong Middle Eastern woman, out to prove things can happen as long as you stay true to yourself, believe in yourself and work hard. Don’t let anyone stop you from living your dream.”

You go, girl!
