Dubai Government Workshop organizes introductory workshop on Global Stars Rating Program

Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) recently organized a special introductory workshop covering the use of the Global Stars Rating Program (7 Stars). Present during the event were H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, Deputy CEO of Dubai Government Workshop, accompanied by the workshop’s management and service teams.

The workshop was aimed at educating participants about the Global Stars Rating Program, which grades performance based on a ‘two to seven’ star rating system. The workshop also looked towards classifying the services offered by the DGW–including the rating done based on a major and minor system axis and their relation to the DGW strategy.

H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, Deputy Executive Director, DGW, said, “The special introductory workshop was aimed towards helping our employees be more acquainted with the Global Star Rating Program. It also demonstrates our commitment and support for the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in improving the quality of life in society, through the services it provides, and believing in the importance of consolidating the concept of professional responsibility and tireless work to advance the government service sector with world-class standards, in continuation of the Dubai Government’s approach to strengthening the government service sector to serve the aspirations of the public and increase their happiness. “

Al Raeesi added, “DGW is going the extra mile to meet and even exceed customer requirements by providing a diverse portfolio of world class maintenance services for Dubai government’s fleet of vehicles–falling in line with our commitment to help achieve the goals and objectives of our strategic plan for 2019 – 2023. Rest assured that we will remain fully committed towards playing a lead role for the community by launching a series of innovative initiatives and specific programs aimed at achieving people’s happiness and society welfare.”

During the workshop, participants were briefed on essential aspects of the Global Stars Rating Program,  including its eligibility criteria, service delivery channels, customer happiness centres, call centres, website, smart apps and assessment of customer experience by measuring their satisfaction from priority services provided through various service channels.

The DGW usually identifies its priority services based on the degree of service relevant to its mission as a public institution concerned with the maintenance and servicing of the government’s fleet of cars, the importance of service from the customer’s perspective as well as from an operational perspective and in terms of commitment to equality in serving all social groups, such as services directed to specific and important groups including but not limited to people of determination, elderly as well as  youth, to ensure equality for all in accessing high-quality services.
