First Emirati Astronaut, Hazza Al Mansouri visits Repton School Dubai

Repton School Dubai today welcomed the first Emirati astronaut in space, Hazza Al Mansouri accompanied by astronaut, Sultan Al Neyadi at its Nad Al Sheba campus. The two Emirati astronauts received a warm Reptonian welcome from Headmaster, David Cook along with the teaching faculty and students.

 

Al Mansouri and Al Neyadi toured the 1.3m sq. ft. Repton campus before giving an inspiring and thought-provoking presentation to inspire the minds of young students from Year 4 to Year 10. Al Mansouri shared details about the complex intricacies of space travel and the journey to the International Space Station, and encouraged the young students to work hard to achieve their dreams – and even become space travellers themselves.
