GUERLAIN ORANGE BLOSSOM Thierry Wasser

FROM PICKING BLOOMS IN THE MORNING, TO DISTILLING THEM AT NIGHT, THIERRY WASSER HEADS TO NABEUL IN TUNISIA EVERY APRIL TO FOLLOW THE THREE-WEEK ADVENTURE THAT IS NEROLI PRODUCTION.

A TREE AND AN OLFACTORY TREASURE
A true delight for any Perfumer. First, to create neroli oil, flowers are distilled into a water vapor. Or, a concreate is made through a solvent extraction process then becoming an absolute. The actual orange fruit itself is used
to create a bitter orange essence, while the leaves are distilled to produce a petitgrain and the extraction gives a petitgrain absolute.
