ICONIC UAE BUILDINGS LIGHT UP FOR 49TH NATIONAL DAY

Many of the UAE’s most iconic buildings were illuminated as never before, to mark the upcoming 49th UAE National Day, from 7 – 11pm over the last two days.
The Burj Khalifa in Dubai lit up with a glittering LED show dancing over all 828 meters of the world’s tallest building. The towering ADNOC headquarters, Abu Dhabi Global Market, the historic Al Ain Municipality headquarters, Marina Mall, Khalifa University and the W Hotel in Abu Dhabi, were also lit up with a series of images, texts, and colour shows.
Text and images publicising how people can tune into the live broadcast of the ‘Seeds of the Union’ on December 2 lit up the skyline, meanwhile, moving video clips were beamed across the towering ADNOC Headquarters, the prestigious Khalifa University and the world-famous W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island.
On December 2, a dazzling colour show will play out on the facades of the UAE’s most recognisable structures, including Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Emirates Palace and Mohammed V University in in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain’s Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
This year’s festivities will act as a curtain-raiser for celebrations for the 50th UAE National Day Golden Jubilee in 2021.
