Celebrating the success of the first-of-its-kind contest in the UAE, Hafsa Qadeer, Founder and CEO of Inclusive, said: “The movement of inclusion in the UAE is powerful and one that sets an example for the world. As a platform strongly led by youth, Inclusive will continue to ensure that People of Determination receive their right of representation in every walk of life, equally.  Our purpose is critical and our aim is to achieve a community where inclusion is no longer an after-thought. We will continue to initiate creative ventures that bring the community together, with the strong ambition to build a truly inclusive UAE at heart. The responses for this contest have been brilliant and our favorite has been watching so many families all over the country, participate with great enthusiasm. We congratulate all the winners and look forward to welcoming everyone to a bigger initiative soon.”

As part of the efforts to bring together the community of UAE to support inclusion in every aspect of life, Inclusive also worked with Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, to ensure best practices for web accessibility were adapted for the online culinary contest. Using image descriptions on social media platforms and ensuring accessibility tools were available online, both parties worked together to ensure the contest was truly inclusive.
