For the occasion, the Founder and President of Rebirth Beirut, Mr. Gaby Fernaine, said: “Our association has been working non-stop to light up our beloved capital Beirut. This exhibition will contribute to our efforts by highlighting the works of these amazing talents and by reestablishing Beirut as the cultural beacon of the region.”

The displayed artworks are defined by their overall common subject, which uses light and shadow to illustrate the Lebanese people’s hope.

The exhibition features images of various shapes and sizes, each of which captures and reveals the artists’ unique and group viewpoints on the “Lights of Hope”.

The exhibition will be open to the public on Thursday, 8 December 2022, from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM and on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 December 2022 from 3:00 PM till 7:00 PM.

Part of the proceeds will go to support Rebirth Beirut’s initiatives which previously included a series of development projects, most notably the lighting of Beirut’s streets, which amounted to about 38 streets and 5 main avenues in the city.
