Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland send sweet message and gifts to boy who saved his sister

Chances are that you have already seen a heart-warming true story about a pair of siblings making the rounds on the internet. 6-year old Bridger Walker became everyone’s favorite brother after saving his sister from an attacking dog a few days ago. This vicious attack resulted in Bridger suffering from several bites and 90 stitches on his face.

A few days after the attack, Walker’s aunt, Nicole Noel Walker took to Instagram, writing a post to all the Avengers cast members, asking them to share words of encouragement for the little boy. This post finally caught the attention of Chris Evans, aka Captain America, and the actor then proceeded to send Bridger a video message. In this video, Evans promised him the real Captain America shield, after which Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland came forward to also lend their support.

In another video by the Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. said, “Bridger, you’re a rockstar! I hear [Captain America] sent a shield your way. I’m going to do one better, you call me on your next birthday. I’ve got something special for you.”

Holland was not far behind. He dressed up in his Spiderman suit and recorded a message saying, “I want to say you are so brave, mate,” Holland said. “We are all so proud of you, and your little sister is so lucky to have someone like you.” “We’re going to be shooting ‘Spider-Man 3’ and if you ever want to come to set and hang out and see the Spider-Man suit up close, you’re always welcome,” Holland said.

It just goes to show that real courage is always rewarded.
