Happy Lunar New Year! 2024 marks the arrival of the Year of the Dragon, a symbol of power, nobility, luck, success and charisma in traditional Chinese astrology.
In celebration and homage, MAX&Co. launches a Lunar New Year capsule. The dragon is creatively incorporated throughout the collection; sometimes boldly, sometimes subtly.
Vibrant and joyful, standout pieces include a maxi sweater – or mini sweater dress –starring an intricate dragon motif, embellished with intricate embroidery and sequin detailing. A cable-knit sweater is also enlivened with a dragon motif. Elsewhere, the dragon is celebrated in a more abstract, though no less striking way, note the neat, knit skirt set with a graphic intarsia pattern that nods to mythological scales.
These designs are accompanied by the T-shirts. Available to a global audience, designs have longevity and are intended to go beyond the celebrations, for the many seasons and years to come.
