In collaboration with RAK Hospital, Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah Marjan Island celebrated the Breast Cancer Awareness Month on the 24th of October 2024
In a global effort to raise awareness on breast cancer, October has been designated as the Pink Month to educate those concerned about the disease including early identification, signs and symptoms associated.
The event took place at Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah Marjan Island where several people attended the gathering. Dr Margaret Sinclair from RAK Hospital was the speaker for the day. She talked about what is breast cancer, how it can be identified and how it can be treated. They also urged women to do self-check-ups and medical check-ups at least 2 times a month just to be aware about the disease.
Everyone who attended was very happy and grateful for the information that was shared during this event.
