DUBAI BASKETBALL INSPIRES NEXT GENERATION WITH FUN DUBAI FITNESS CHALLENGE SKILLS CLINIC

Dubai Basketball hosted a skills clinic for kids in Dubai as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge activities, inspiring the next generation to engage in the sport and live a healthy lifestyle.

At Kite Beach, the players and coaches passed on their knowledge to the young people on how to improve their shooting, dribbling, and passing techniques while also taking part in fun games.

Nate Mason was among the stars to take to the court and was impressed by what he saw. He said: “It was great to see & meet so many kids who are fans of basketball and having the chance to play alongside them and offer tips and advice that will help them in the future. Best of all, it was fantastic to see a big smile on their faces, it’s what sports are all about – bringing people together to have fun and stay active and have a good time.”

The Dubai Basketball skills clinic was part of Dubai Fitness Challenge, an initiative to make Dubai one of the most active cities in the world. It offers an action-packed calendar of events and activities as people commit to 30 minutes of exercise for 30 consecutive days.

It also aligns with Dubai Basketball’s efforts on engaging with the local communities and committed to catalysing positive social change, fostering inclusivity, and driving the advancement of the sport both locally and internationally.

Dubai Basketball holds a 7-2 record in Europe’s ABA League in its debut season and fans can see the team live in action on Sunday 15th December when they take on Mornar at Coca-Cola Arena. Tickets are available here with prices starting from AED 75.
