“11 months after the inauguration of the offices of the OIF for the Middle East in Beirut, this mission will be one of the major events of the economic return, organized by the OIF.” indicated the Representative of the OIF in Beirut, Mr Lévon AMIRJANYAN.
It should be noted that more than 70 companies and around 10 economic institutions from 27 member states and governments of La Francophonie will participate in this new edition in Lebanon. They operate in the sectors of agro-industry, digital goods and services, sustainable energy, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and sustainable tourism. They will have the opportunity to meet around 150 Lebanese companies.
This mission offers them the opportunity to explore the Lebanese market and learn about the opportunities it offers in the different targeted sectors, which will allow them to exchange and establish partnerships with local companies through B2B meetings and visits of several company sites.
To complete the program, several high-level and thematic sessions will address the international economic context and its impact on trade or the conditions and modalities for doing business in Lebanon.
After two other economic missions in Southeast Asia (Vietnam and Cambodia) in March 2022, in Central Africa (Gabon and Rwanda) in July 2022 and a prospecting mission in North Africa (Morocco and Egypt) in February 2023, this economic and commercial mission is part of a structuring and impactful approach, promoting the countries of the French-speaking area as attractive destinations for international trade and investments.
