Ministry of Economy launches its new AI chatbot at GITEX 2023

Ministry is showcasing its innovations & digital services at the federal government pavilion

The Ministry of Economy launched its new Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot powered by ChatGPT at GITEX Global 2023, which runs from October 16 to 20, 2023, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The Ministry is showcasing its innovations and digital services at the federal government pavilion.

H.E. Abdulla Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, emphasized that GITEX is a leading global platform for sharing experiences, knowledge and best practices in technological advancements and innovations, new economy and entrepreneurship. It offers a platform to various federal and local government entities to showcase their latest digital services and solutions, which play a key role in supporting the UAE’s efforts to drive digital transformation in the government sector.

H.E. said: “The Ministry of Economy has adopted a strategic vision to offer sophisticated and effective institutional services and build a digital architecture based on global best practices, establishing a sustainable and diversified economy led by highly competent national talent. Our participation in the exhibition forms part of our continuing efforts to enhance the digital experience we offer to customers and learn more about innovative and pioneering services and trends. The new service offers a unique experience to customers and raises their satisfaction levels, especially since AI is one of the key pillars of the fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) and has multiple uses in the economic, industrial, technical and advanced applications fields.”

The AI chatbot service aims to address all customer inquiries and provide information they need easily and with flexibly through automated responses in the shortest time. The service provides responses to queries related to economic legislations and regulations as well as the Ministry’s services – ranging from the procedures for establishing a commercial agency and opening a new branch of a cooperative to other miscellaneous services.
