ADCMC is set to participate in GITEX 2023
The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre – Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) has announced its participation in GITEX Global 2023 exhibition, which will be held over 4 days from 16-20 October 2023 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
As part of its participation in this global event, ADCMC will showcase a number of innovative digital initiatives and projects in its pavilion, including the Digital Crisis Management Platform. The platform aims to raise the level of the Centre’s internal capabilities, utilising data analysis to support the decision-making process, by offering a wide package of services to increase the efficiency of its operations and employees. The platform enables decision-makers to gain a competitive advantage and achieve the best results with the least possible time, effort, and cost, in addition to facilitating data planning and analysis.
Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, Acting Director General of ADCMC, said: “At ADCMC, we are committed to participating in various local and international events which serve as an opportunity to build bridges of cooperation with leading entities in the tech fields. Our participation in GITEX enables us to showcase our most innovative initiatives and projects, and exchange experiences and strategic visions, with the aim of strengthening the emergency, crisis, and disaster management system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.”

The event, which will be held in Dubai, will include the participation of several government entities and local companies across various vital sectors in the UAE, in addition to major international companies and experts specialised in the field of innovation and technology.
The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) was established in 2019 with the aim of enhancing the emirate’s preparedness to face emergencies, crises, and disasters. The centre prepares general policies, strategies, and plans related to emergency, crisis, and disaster management for the emirate in coordination with the concerned authorities. This is in addition to coordinating with its partners and stakeholders and acting as a link that synchronises and organises emergency, crisis, and disaster management tasks using its pioneering system.
