Enriching Tourism and Cultural Experiences:

Ajman offers a tapestry of cultural experiences, including traditional markets, culinary journeys ranging from popular to international cuisine, and an array of museums. The Ajman Museum stands out as a landmark, narrating the emirate’s story and the development path of its population over 5,000 years BC, providing visitors with a comprehensive understanding of the region’s rich heritage.

The recently inaugurated heritage trail exemplifies Ajman’s commitment to preserving its vibrant historical essence. This trail represents a significant step in enhancing Ajman’s rich heritage, fostering connections with history and culture among residents and visitors alike.

Beyond the cultural landscape, the Beit Rashid Al Khader Museum, which opened in 2023, showcases poetry as an artistic expression and a conduit for transmitting heritage and stories.

Ajman’s events cater to adventure enthusiasts, offering opportunities for long walks in the scenic natural areas of the Al Zorah region. The Masfout area provides a unique experience with mountain biking paths and the discovery of picturesque landscapes.

Substantial Growth in Tourism Investment:

As of 2023, Ajman boasts 50 hotels and resorts with a total of 4,292 rooms. The emirate experienced a remarkable 11% growth in revenues and a 6% increase in occupancy in 2023 compared to the previous year, according to a report by Smith Travel Research (STR). Ajman leads the hospitality sector with an 82% occupancy rate, outperforming its competitors.

Future bookings signal positive development, indicating a return to pre-pandemic levels. Strong marketing campaigns in collaboration with German tour operators and robust sales initiatives in 2023 instills confidence that 2024 will witness continued growth.
