As part of the company’s engagement at COY18, Dr. Tina Kapp, Head of Learning at Alef Education, hosted a special session titled, ‘Inspiring and Involving Youth in Climate Education.’ Dr. Kapp led an insightful discussion on strategies for engaging young learners in community action, both within school premises and in broader community settings. The session emphasized specific tools aimed at enhancing youth engagement and empowering them to take concrete actions for meaningful climate initiatives in both blended and face-to-face learning environments.
Geoffrey Alphonso, CEO of Alef Education, said: “We are honored to have participated in COY18, a dedicated platform empowering young voices to influence global climate policies and promoting universal accessibility. Alef Education has always been a pioneer in education technology, and our active participation at COY18 reassures our goal to provide effective learning solutions to students worldwide beyond merely curriculum-based content. We strongly believe that every student should have access to educational climate change and action knowledge through various learning solutions, such as Alef Education’s climate change metaverse.”
