The Pink Table for Al Jalila Foundation
Throughout October, guests can reserve The Pink Table, a specially decorated table at carine. For an extra AED 100, which goes directly to the Al Jalila Foundation, diners will enjoy a beautifully adorned pink table with flowers, a personal welcome card from Carine Ani, a Polaroid camera to capture the meal and a complimentary shared dessert.
This not only offers a wonderful dining experience but also provides guests an opportunity to make a significant and direct impact on the lives of breast cancer patients in the UAE.

In addition to The Pink Table, Carine Ani, who is also the founder of Mémère Coco, has created a limited-edition healthy, gluten-free and sugar-free Chocolate Cake available for purchase throughout October at carine. This dessert is specially created for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in which a portion of proceeds will be donated to Al Jalila Foundation to further support breast cancer research, education and treatment.

Exclusive Wellness Morning with Karma Yoga and ACRO:
Kicking off the month, carine is hosting a private yoga and sound healing session in collaboration with the award-winning yoga academy Karma Yoga and female-owned and homegrown athleisure brand ACRO. Influencers in the wellness and fitness space are joining to experience a rejuvenating yoga and relaxing sound healing session led by Karma Yoga, with ACRO providing a special pink yoga set. The wellness morning session highlights the therapeutic benefits of yoga and sound healing to breast cancer patients, which offers relaxation, peace, and relief.
‘Early Detection’ Panel Discussion
Following the wellness morning is a panel discussion featuring Breast Surgeon and Laparoscopic GI Surgeon Dr. Ritu Khare, artist-activist and breast cancer survivor Jesno Jackson, Clinical and Functional Dietician and breast cancer survivor Tina Chagoury¸and Author, Actor, and Myeloma Survivor Lisa Rani Ray. Joining the speakers is Carine Ani, the wife of Chef Izu and the daughter of a cancer survivor, who has a deep passion for raising awareness about breast cancer and supporting women who are bravely fighting this battle. The panel discussion moderated by radio host Alana Wallace, supported by the Al Jalila Foundation, will address self-examination, the importance of nutrition and having the right support system, and will tackle the survivors’ personal journey.
Al Jalila Foundation supports medical treatment for individuals unable to afford quality healthcare, provides scholarships to build a generation of UAE-qualified medical professionals, and supports ground-breaking research that addresses health challenges prevalent in the region: cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity, and mental health.
