CHARLOTTE TILBURY BEAUTY PARTNERS WITH ZUHAIR MURAD AT PARIS HAUTE COUTURE WEEK

On creating the beauty looks for the show, Sofia Tilbury shares: 

“It is always a huge honour to support Zuhair for Paris Couture Week, and this season, his gorgeous collection was inspired by the mystery of midnight, with elegant blacks, gothic glamour and dark romantic fabrics giving us an opportunity to have fun with the beauty, creating two polished, yet moody makeup looks with a seductive, mysterious energy.

We started with all of Charlotte’s magic skincare, including the new Magic Hydrator Mist to revive the skin and create a fresh, hydrated base, then prepped with Charlotte’s Magic Cream to plump and smooth the look of the complexion.

We chose Beautiful Skin Foundation and Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer to offer dewy, buildable coverage with a lightweight feeling, and buffed them into the skin with a Magic Complexion Brush to get that sheer, skin-like finish. To contour, we used the Hollywood Contour Wands and Beautiful Skin Sun-Kissed Glow Bronzer, focusing on adding structure and carving out the facial features rather than creating too much warmth or blush on the skin. The brows were brushed up and defined, and both looks had that signature confident glow Zuhair loves, using the Beauty Light Wands in Spotlight and Goldgasm.

The first look was a deep burgundy lip, created by lining with the Classic Black Eyeliner to create a depth of shadow that was topped with the rich plum Lip Cheat in Bad Romance, then we blended it with the new Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur in Ruby Blur for a blood-red centre with a diffused effect. These new, weightless liquid lipsticks have the effect of soft-focusing the lips, creating a smoother, fuller look, with a high-pigment, opaque red colour that looked flawless when topped with Collagen Lip Bath gloss.

The second look was all about the eyes. Zuhair wanted a romantic, gothic sepia effect, with taupe and chocolate brown tones from the Super Nudes Easy Eye Palette blending into sultry charcoal contour through the outer corners with the Classic Black eyeliner and Oyster Pearl Eyes to Mesmerise. We finished by pressing the new Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur in Pillow Talk over the lips to create a soft-focused, neutral nude, and set both looks in place with Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder and Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray to lock in the opulence alongside the windswept hair and glossy, glowing skin.”
