DIA BEACON ANNUAL SPRING BENEFIT SUPPORTED BY BOTTEGA VENETA

Beacon, NY – On Saturday, May 11, 2024, more than 550 artists, philanthropists, museum directors, curators,
and luminaries from the art, film, and fashion industries gathered in Beacon, New York, to celebrate Dia Art
Foundation’s Spring Benefit and to pay tribute to Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Maren Hassinger, Mary
Heilmann, Rita McBride, Steve McQueen, and Meg Webster on the occasion of the recent opening of
six exhibitions of artists’ work at Dia Beacon and in celebration of Dia’s 50th anniversary. Guests
were among the first to view a new immersive commission by Steve McQueen, titled Bass (2024).
Proceeds from the gala support Dia’s innovative programs, including its long-term installations, commissions
of ambitious new projects, publications, public lectures and readings, and educational initiatives.
The day was made possible through the generous support of Bottega Veneta.

The 2024 Spring Benefit Co-Chairs were Matthieu Blazy, Charles de Gunzburg, Maja Oeri, and Paul Pfeiffer.
