DIAFA returns in its 8th edition, dedicated to the late poet Nizar Qabbani
The Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards – DIAFA has officially announced the forthcoming 8th Edition of its esteemed festival. Honoring distinguished personalities from various fields and different nationalities, this prestigious festival promises an unforgettable celebration of talent and achievements.
DIAFA 2024 is set to unfold over two consecutive days on the 26th and 27th of November, and it will be dedicated to one of the Arab world’s biggest icons in literature, Nizar Qabbani. The festival will be live from the Plaza Terrace of Jumeirah Emirates Towers, facing Dubai’s iconic monument the Museum of the Future.
The festival will begin on November 26th with the Opening Ceremony, featuring an engaging Panel Discussion with this year’s esteemed honorees, offering insights into their impactful contributions and achievements.
The spotlight intensifies on November 27th, commencing with the glamorous Red Carpet at 06:00 PM followed by the highly anticipated Awards Ceremony at 08:00 PM, all broadcasted live on various regional television channels, ensuring global reach and engagement.
Last year’s edition of DIAFA awarded personalities from 20 different countries, including Mona Zaki, Jacqueliene Fernandez, Saad Lamjarred, Aditi Rao Hydari, Amir Karara, Soolking, Burak Deniz, Huda Hussein, Maguy Bou Ghosn, Pamela El Kik, Asmaa Ibraheem and many others, and was hosted by Kris Fade and Noha Nabeel
