Marking its highly anticipated return, the second edition of the MICHELIN Guide Food Festival Abu Dhabi is set to inject the capital with a symphony of flavours. Taking place at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi from November 22nd to 24th, it promises a haven for food lovers of all ages. The festival will showcase a myriad of exclusive dishes, one-of-a-kind six-hands and eight-hands culinary collaboration between top chefs, live cooking demonstrations, and kids’ masterclasses.

This edition promises to deliver an even more refined experience, highlighting a taste of Abu Dhabi’s evolving food scene, where heritage meets modern gastronomy in every dish. With top chefs from 20 MICHELIN Guide recommended restaurants set to showcase their culinary mastery, guests can expect a thrilling journey through diverse cuisines and creative flavours.

Local legends include the teams from the capital’s One MICHELIN Star restaurants – 99 Sushi Bar, Erth Restaurant, Hakkasan, and Talea by Antonio Guida – who will be joined by international chefs from MICHELIN Starred restaurants such as Cenador de Amós (Three MICHELN Stars & Green Star, Spain), Crony (Two MICHELIN Stars & Green Star, Japan), Evvai (Two MICHELIN Stars, Brazil), Restaurant Allen (Two MICHELIN Stars, South Korea), and Ocean (Two MICHELN Stars, Portugal).

Blending international and local talent, the festival will also unveil its first-ever MICHELIN Guide Café, led by acclaimed Italian pastry chef and MICHELIN Passion Dessert winner Aurora Storari, the creative force behind Aura at One MICHELIN Star restaurant Hémicycle, and Alexandre Thabard, Executive Pastry Chef from Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi.

MICHELIN Guide Café Set Menu

Demonstrating the mastery of Chef Aurora Storari and Chef Alexandre Thabard, guests will have the opportunity to relish a specially curated three-course pastry set menu. Available to enjoy in the café as you explore the festival, try a selection of perfectly crafted sweet and savoury pastries, perfectly paired with Nespresso coffee, for AED 250 per person. Plus, receive an exclusive MICHELIN cup as a souvenir to take home. Chef Aurora Storari will be showcasing her exceptional culinary skills, so don’t miss this chance to experience her exquisite creations for the first time in Abu Dhabi.

Kids Masterclasses

Unleash your child’s inner chef with engaging cooking masterclasses taking place across the weekend.

On November 22nd until 24th, children will have the chance to work alongside talented Executive Pastry Chef Alex Thabard from Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, creating a classic fresh berry pavlova. In this fun and interactive masterclass, kids will learn how to whip up the perfect meringue, assemble the layers, and decorate their pavlova with vibrant seasonal berries. It’s the perfect way for children to explore the art of pastry making while expressing their creativity.

While on November 23rd, children will have the exclusive opportunity to roll up their sleeves and learn the art of authentic Italian pasta making from the renowned Chef Luigi Stinga from One MICHELIN Star Talea by Antonio Guida. Guided step-by-step by Chef Luigi, they’ll discover how to mix, knead, roll, and shape their very own pasta from scratch. From tagliatelle to ravioli, young participants will explore different techniques and learn valuable tips directly from Chef Luigi.

Perfectly tailored for young foodies aged 6 to 12 and priced at AED 135, these sessions offer hands-on fun and learning in a world-class culinary setting, sparking a lifelong love for cooking.

For adults, take your culinary skills to the next level with the MICHELIN Guide @ Home live cooking demonstrations. Hosted every evening of the festival, each session will be led by chefs from MICHELIN Guide restaurants, who will guide you step-by-step through their signature recipes, sharing tips and techniques to help you recreate the magic in your own kitchen.?

Enjoy free access to witness celebrated chefs in action, including Debiprasad Rath, Head Chef at One MICHELIN Star Erth Restaurant Abu Dhabi, renowned for his modern twist on Emirati classics, Chef Hemant Oberoi from MICHELIN Selected Martabaan by Hemant Oberoi, blending rich Indian flavours with contemporary flair, Kenan Harmoush, Head Chef at MICHELIN Selected Tean, who brings traditional Levantine dishes to life, and many more.

At the end of every session, receive a recipe card, allowing you to recreate an elevated culinary experience at home.

 MICHELIN Stars Table

Embark on the ultimate MICHELIN Guide culinary journey with the exclusive MICHELIN Stars Table experience, hosted at four renowned restaurants within Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental: Talea by Antonio Guida, Martabaan by Hemant Oberoi, Hakkasan, and Sand & Koal.

Featuring a fusion of culinary masterminds each evening, top chefs from MICHELIN Starred restaurants will collaborate to create an extraordinary set menu inspired by the elements – earth, desert, sea, and sky.

Among the participants are restaurant owners and head chefs Allen Hyunmin Suh from Restaurant Allen (Two MICHELIN Stars, Seoul) and Luiz Filipe from Evvai (Two MICHELIN Stars, Brazil), who will collectively join forces with Chef Luigi Stinga at Talea by Antonio Guida (One MICHELIN Star, Abu Dhabi). This star-studded line-up will convey the theme of ‘earth’, focusing on fresh vegetables, legumes, and the finest cuts of meat.

Additionally, on November 24th, Chef Lee Kok Hua of Hakkasan (One MICHELIN Star, Abu Dhabi) will welcome international guests Chef Michihiro Haruta from Crony (Two MICHELIN Stars & Green Star, Japan), Chef Hans Neuner from Ocean (Two MICHELIN Stars, Portugal), and Chef Jesús Sánchez Sáinz from Cenador de Amós (Three MICHELIN Stars, Spain), to deliver their rendition of the element of ‘sea’. This eight-hands dinner promises an unforgettable dining experience that showcases each chef’s interpretation of nature’s finest.

Especially on Sunday, November 24th, Chef Ozan Kumbasar from Vino Locale (One MICHELIN Star & Green Star) and Chef Ivan Azar from Casa Vigil (One MICHELIN Star), will come together to present a sky-inspired brunch menu, highlighting open-fire cooking with smoke-kissed meats and vegetables, and flavors that capture the warmth of a sunrise.
