InfraX and Space42 advance IoT solutions in the UAE
InfraX, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), and Space42 (ADX: SPACE42), the UAE’s first AI-powered SpaceTech company with a global reach, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly advance Internet of Things (IoT) in the UAE. This landmark agreement aims to leverage both companies’ expertise to enhance the Internet of Things (IoT) and Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technologies.
Signed by Rashid Alahmedi, Chief Operating Officer of InfraX, and Sulaiman Al Ali, CEO of Thuraya Telecommunications Company, the satellite mobility arm of Space42’s Yahsat Space Services, at GITEX 2024. The collaboration will combine InfraX’s cutting-edge infrastructure solutions with Space42’s global satellite connectivity to developing innovative IoT use cases, integrating platform capabilities with Thuraya’s extensive IoT network. Both Space42 and InfraX will deliver advanced, scalable, and reliable IoT solutions for the utilities sector.
