IPT stakeholders’ panel: a commitment towards responsible business practices

IPT engaged their external stakeholders over a panel to extract the issues that are material to them and align these to the core business strategy.

Aiming to continuously enhance the corporate culture and engage peers, suppliers, clients, partners and community influencers; in its Sustainability journey, IPT organized a round table on December 6.

A company dedicated to advancing its CSR initiatives since 2012 with multiple milestones, IPT included representatives of its external stakeholders to participate in developing the materiality of their environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors from the perspective of their needs and expectations.

The expected outcome of this panel is to identify salient sustainability issues from a stakeholder standpoint within the materiality process of IPT and build on the participants’ feedback in fostering continuous improvement.

Evidently, elements of Human Rights, Labour issues, the Environment and its challenges, and transparent, anti-corrupt practices were among the top priority of topics discussed, revealing guidelines for mapping relevant initiatives for 2024 within the Sustainability journey of IPT.

More specifically, the innovation of the industry and its maturity into an energy company where the impacts of consumers are considered and the sustainability of our country concerned from an environmental perspective with key partnerships to propagate these elements for the benefit of the citizen.

“Noteworthy, this advanced methodology of stakeholder inclusivity maintains IPT’s visionary and trend-setting drive towards social and environmental responsibility.”

These commitments and their progress, as aligned to the global benchmarks of the UNGC and the SDGs, will be communicated in our Sustainability Report for 2023.
