LAU Mobile Clinic Centennial Missions Embark on a Journey of Compassion Across Lebanon for LAU 100 Year Anniversary

Rooted in compassion and its continuous desire of supporting the Lebanese community and on the occasion of its 100-year anniversary, LAU is proud to announce the launch of its Mobile Clinic Centennial Missions. This initiative will see a dedicated team of physicians, residents, nurses, and staff visit 26 destinations throughout Lebanon, providing essential medical care and support.

The LAU Medical Centers’ healthcare professionals will offer comprehensive medical consultations and conduct vital health screenings to people who have limited access to healthcare, including:

· Electrocardiogram (EKG) to assess heart health

· HbA1c test to identify potential diabetes risk

· Liquid Panels Glucose test to check current blood sugar levels

· Hematocrit & Hemoglobin tests to detect anemia and other blood disorders

These tests play a crucial role in early detection and prevention of potential health issues.

The Mobile Clinic Centennial Missions kick off this June and will unfold over six months, from June to November 2024, with the first mission set to begin on the 8th of June in Akkar.

The importance of this initiative cannot be overstated. By offering on-the-ground medical care, LAU is addressing a critical need for accessible healthcare. The LAU Mobile Clinic Centennial Missions are designed to reach all over Lebanon, ensuring that reliable medical care is accessible to all, regardless of location.

This initiative is a testament to the power of compassion in action.
