MANGO HOUSE SEYCHELLES LXR HOTELS & RESORTS AND CANOPY BY HILTON SEYCHELLES ANNOUNCE DISTINGUISHED NEW LEADERSHIP APPOINTMENT

Hilton proudly announces the appointment of Hendrick Calles as the Cluster General Manager for Mango House Seychelles and Canopy by Hilton Seychelles. This new role comes as part of his expanded responsibilities as Hilton Area General Manager for Seychelles, where he will oversee the operations of all six Hilton properties in the country.

Hendrick brings over 20 years of experience with Hilton, including a highly successful tenure as General Manager of Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa, where he has led with distinction for the past two years.

In his expanded role, Hendrick will guide the operational and commercial success of the properties while championing the unique essence of each brand.

“Having the opportunity to manage two distinct resorts—one focused on luxury and the other a lifestyle-driven escape for couples, families, and explorers—is an incredibly unique experience.” said Hendrick. “It’s a chance for me and my team to bring the essence of these brands to life and set these resorts apart. Transitioning from the North of Mahé to the South, and from an adults-only resort to a varied cluster that balances luxury and lifestyle, is both exciting and rewarding.”

Andreas Lackner, Hilton’s Vice President of Operations for Africa & the Indian Ocean, expressed confidence in Hendrick’s leadership: “Since joining Hilton Seychelles over two years ago and having been part of the Hilton family for more than 20 years, Hendrick has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication. With his international expertise, unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction and strong commercial acumen, I am confident that both resorts will thrive under his guidance. His passion for team member development and fostering a culture of inclusivity and growth has made him a valued leader, ensuring that Hilton’s people-first ethos continues to flourish across Seychelles.”

Commenting on his new role as Cluster General Manager, Hendrick added: “I am honoured to take on this expanded responsibility. My team and I are eager to bring renewed enthusiasm to the resorts and look forward to welcoming guests and visitors with the warmth and hospitality that Hilton is known for.”
