Naomi Campbell set to walk for Rizman Ruzaini , closing Dubai Fashion Week with style and splendor

World-renowned supermodel and fashion icon Naomi Campbell will make her Dubai Fashion Week debut at Dubai Design District (d3). She is set to walk the final runway show of the SS24 edition of Dubai Fashion Week, modelling for the Malaysian luxury fashion house Rizman Ruzaini. Campbell’s appearance will conclude the second edition of Dubai’s official fashion week and the region’s definitive fashion fixture and culminate a highly successful fashion week, which was highlighted with the presentation of Carolina Herrera SS24.

Dressmaker to the stars in their home country Malaysia, Rizman Ruzaini will showwhat 18 years of experience in creating showstopping fashion looks like when they present their SS24 collection on the last evening of Dubai Fashion Week – and with Naomi Campbell and a host of Malaysian and regional celebrities in attendance.

Dubai Fashion Week was co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), a global creative ecosystem part of TECOM Group PJSC, and the Arab Fashion Council.  It evolved from the successful legacy of Arab Fashion Week to provide an international platform for emerging and established designers to grow their brands, securing Dubai’s position among the global fashion capitals of Paris, New York, London and Milan.

Campbell will be closing the powerhouse designer duo Rizman Nordin and Ruzaini Jamil’s widely anticipated show, marking the end of what has been a colourful, creative, high-profile and widely successful Dubai Fashion Week. The week-long showcase kicked off with an exclusive presentation by global fashion house Carolina Herrera and its Creative Director Wes Gordon, underscoring Dubai Fashion Week’s global imprint and Dubai’s emerging status as a global fashion destination.  It concludes with Naomi Campbell on the runway.

Campbell has been a trailblazer in the fashion industry for nearly four decades, starting her career at just 15 years old. She is one of only five ‘original’ supermodels – crowned by the global fashion industry and media – and was the first black woman to appear on the covers of Time Magazine and Vogue France. Campbell remains an influential figure in the fashion world – she just appeared on the cover of the September issue of Vogue and headlined shows in Milan and Paris.

Dubai Fashion Week is possible due to the generosity, commitment and contributions of its strategic partners: Air France as the official aviation partner; Meta as the official media partner; Microsoft as the official tech partner; Nothing as the official mobile partner; Dyson as the official hair tech partner; Kiko Milano as the official makeup partner; Schwarzkopf Professional as the official haircare partner; Waldorf Astoria as the official hotel partner; Lavazza as the official coffee partner;  Bold Management at the official talent management partner; and Fiji Water as the official hydration partner.
