The dining space features a menu centred around the use of Bincho-tan charcoal, delivering delectable takes on Southeast Asian dishes. The open kitchen, equipped with a custom charcoal and woodfire grill, ensures each dish bursts with flavour and authenticity.

The restaurant encapsulates the timeless Eastern tradition, infusing it with a distinctly unique Asian spirit. The menu at ÒAK reflects a fusion of Asian inspired and woodfired aromas from Bincho-tan with the delicately spiced flavours of the Far East. While the cuisine predominantly draws from Japanese influences, elements of Korean, Thai and Chinese cuisine also shine through.

The menu allows guests to indulge in a diverse range of flavours. ÒAK encourages socialising and community, featuring a myriad of Asian inspired dishes, including Asian tapas, a vast robata (Japanese grill cooking) selection of skewers, seafood, and meat, as well as buns, burgers, rice, pasta, salads, and vegetables.

Forged by Fire, signature dishes include grilled beef short rib that’s grilled to perfection over charcoal, resulting in a decadent, buttery smooth meat with a crunchy and flavourful crust. The woodfire roasted cauliflower is beautifully roasted to create a delightful umami celebration. Paired with a puree of squash mixed with cream to make it fluffy, the sauce ties it altogether making for an indulgent mixture of textures and flavours.

The dedication to culinary finesse continues throughout with each dessert carefully selected and created with the highest quality ingredients. Offering a unique experience that Dubai has yet to witness, these sweet creations will end the meal on a flavoursome high.
