On National Environment Day, HE Dr Al Dahak called for uniting efforts to protect the environment, conserve resources, and support the adoption of sustainable local products
- HE Dr. Al Dahak emphasized that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s announcement to extend the “Year of Sustainability” into 2024 underscores the nation’s commitment to establishing sustainable practices in all sectors, instil them in society’s behaviour, build on the UAE’s achievements to date, and increase the country’s contribution to protecting the planet.
- The 27th National Environment Day held under the theme of “Together for a Sustainable Local Product” builds on the success of COP28 and addresses the importance of transforming our food systems to become more sustainable, resilient, and locally sourced.
