On the occasion of International Women’s Day, H.E.  Her Excellency affirmed that Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (The Mother of the Nation), Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), serves as a beacon of inspiration and support for Emirati women, elevating their achievements and empowering them to further their contributions to the nation and societal development. This has resulted in Emirati women assuming prominent roles in the developmental landscape, actively engaging across governmental and private sectors.

 Al Rumathi highlighted the ongoing commitment of the Family Development Foundation to empower women, in line with the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak.
