For Fall – Winter 2024, Berluti is introducing a new sneaker that blends running-inspired details and bootmaker know-how.
Named after the 1990s-born sport where runners follow high altitude mountain trails, Skyrunning was designed with comfort and artisanal expertise in mind.
Mixing multiple materials in a nod to classic running shoes inspired with bootmaker characteristics, the sneaker’s uppers feature mesh and suede, as well as matte and shiny leather with a patina effect to offer durability in all weather conditions. Elements are assembled through hand-made stitching, using thread and hiking laces, achieving a rich, textured look. Meanwhile, chunky yet ultra-lightweight Vibram outsoles and a breathable mesh lining bring exceptional comfort and technical performance.
Three different color combinations – inspired by the great outdoors – are on offer this season: Dune, in soft shades of beige, white and sand; Nightfall, a mix of grey and midnight blue; and Meteorite Brown, a bold, dark-soled contrast of tan, petrol and black tones.
The Skyrunning sneaker will be available in Berluti stores worldwide from July 2024.
